Dr. Henry C. Sobo, Medical Director

Dr. Sobo was raised in Brooklyn, New York and he graduated from Brooklyn College in 1977. He completed his medical training at at SUNY Downstate Medical Center, New York. In 1985 Dr. Sobo completed his residency training in Internal Medicine at the Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York.

Dr. Sobo is a Board-certified Member of the American Society of Bariatric Physicians. He also a Diplomate Candidate of the American College for Advancement in Medicine. This is the largest national organization of doctors practicing nutritionally-oriented medicine. He also holds current memberships in the American Holistic Medical Association, the American Association of Integrative Medicine the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine, and the Pan American Allergy Society.  Notably, Dr. Sobo is one of just a few physicians who has passed a Connecticut (CT) State examination in Homeopathic Medicine. He now holds his license as a Medical Doctor practicing Internal Medicine, as well as his license as a Homeopathic Physician.

Dr.Sobo’s continuing research and study brings him to regularly attend nutritionally-oriented medical conferences where he reviews the latest information regarding natural, non-toxic methods of healing with leading physicians and researchers around the world.  Dr. Sobo has been a lecturer in his community and nationally. He has been a guest on Gary Null’s radio program “Natural Living” — as well as a member of a physicians’ panel recently featured on PBS.  Dr. Sobo has authored numerous articles for publication, including the peer-reviewed journal “The Bariatrician.”




Khajidia (“Gigi”) Laidan, Co-Founder:


Gigi is a Registered Nurse (RN) with approximately 10 years of experience in both the clinical and in-home settings.  Previously, Gigi was a visiting nurse with the Visiting Nurse Service of New York, as well as the Director of Infection Control and Staff Development at DeWitt Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, located in New York City.



Maura Mandell, Co-Founder:

Maura practiced in the corporate department of one of the largest law firms in the US, Weil, Gotshal & Manges, LLC.  She has a very strong and solid business background, focusing her legal practice on start-up companies, acquisitions and IPOs during her career.



Alison Stone, PA

Alison is a practicing Physicians Assistant at Norwalk Hospital.  She received her Master of Science (M.S) from Duke University School of Medicine.


Bridget Dowd, MSN, RN, VA-BC, CRNI

Bridget is one of the most experienced IV nurses in the state of Connecticut.  She is the Clinical Coordinator for infusions at Stamford Hospital.  She is also an Adjunct Professor at Fairfield University where she teaches the art and science behind IV infusions.  



Kenneth Lizak, RN, CCRN

Ken is a veteran nurse with 30 years of experience from the Surgical ICU and Cardiac Catheterization units at Bridgeport Hospital and the Interventional Catheterization Lab at Dandbury hospital.


David Clark, RN

David is a practicing nurse at Yale New Haven Health focusing on patients having complex heart and lung surgeries.


Choesang Tenzin, RN

Choesang is a practicing infusion nurse at the Advanced Allergy and Immunology Infusion Center in Darien.


Genevieve Colinet, RN
